Right Aortic Arch with Aberrant left Subclavian Artery.

چکیده
A 36-year-old patient under study due to extracardiac pathology (dysphagia), to whom, as part of its diagnostic examination, a magnetic resonance angiography, where an aortic arch oriented to the right with the independent birth of the four neck vessels, is detected. A developed left subclavian artery, which at first seems to be an image of double aortic arch, but really, it represents an origin from the holdover of the left arch which forms a Kommerell diverticulum. (1-2) The aortic arch at the right forms a relatively common congenital anomaly that occurs in the 0.05% of the population. We can see three different types: 1Aortic arch at the right with aberrant origin of the left subclavian artery: is the most common type, (our case is an example). This condition is not associated with other cardiac malformations. (3) 2Aortic arch at the right, with mirror image of the neck vessels origin: is rare and generally it is associated with cyanotic congenital cardiopathy, especially, tetralogy of Fallot. 3Aortic arch at the right with isolation of the left subclavian artery: is the most rare, in which, the left subcalvian has no connection with the aorta but it is connected with the pulmonary artery, through a persistent duct which may cause a syndrome of subclavian theft or vertebrobasilar insufficiency. It is

A Retroesophageal Right Subclavian Artery as the Last Branch of the Aortic Arch- In Vivo Case Report
Three major arteries normally originate from the aortic arch. Variations of the aortic arch branches are observed in some cases. Rare variation of the aortic arch branches is originated from the retroesophageal right subclavian (RRS) artery as the last branch of the aortic arch. Variation of artery is possibly associated with the variation of the recurrent laryngeal nerve. This research p...
متن کاملRight-sided Aortic Arch with Aberrant Left Subclavian Artery from Kommerell’s Diverticulum
A previously healthy 52-year-old man had a chest radiograph for medical check-up and found to have a right-sided aortic arch. Computed tomography of the thorax revealed a right-sided aortic arch with aberrant left subclavian artery originated from Kommerell's diverticulum. Barium swallow examination showed compression of the posterior wall of the esophagus. He was asymptomatic and no surgical i...
متن کاملRight‐sided aortic arch and aberrant left subclavian artery with or without a left nonrecurrent inferior laryngeal nerve
BACKGROUND In thyroid surgery, preserving the recurrent laryngeal nerve (RLN) is crucial for preventing postoperative phonatory dysfunction. Right nonrecurrent laryngeal nerves (NRLNs) are not particularly rare, and they are vulnerable to injury during surgery. This anomaly is associated with a right aberrant subclavian artery. Thus, a right-sided aortic arch with an aberrant left subclavian ar...
متن کاملA Rare Variation of Right Subclavian Artery Origin from Posterior Surface of Aortic Arch
Purpose: Several variations of aortic arch have been reported yet. In present study another variation of aortic arch was reported. Right subclavian artery arises from posterior surface of the distal end of the aortic arch. Case Report: we present a variation of an aorticarch in which right subclavian artery arisesfrom posterior surface of the distal end of the aortic arch and passing behind eso...
متن کاملHybrid endovascular repair of aneurysmal right-sided aortic arch and Kommerell’s diverticulum using a two-vessel branched stent graft: Case report and review of literature
Right-sided aortic arches are rare, affecting approximately 0.1% of the population. They are a result of abnormal development of the primitive aortic arches and may present later in life with later life with aneurysmal expansion of the aberrant left subclavian artery 'Kommerell's diverticulum'. These can be challenging to treat effectively. We report a rare case presenting with mild dysphagia a...
متن کاملA Case Report of Variant Origin of Left Vertebral Artery from Aortic Arch and its Embryological Explanation
Vertebral artery is the first branch of subclavian artery. It merges with the same artery of the opposite side to form basilar artery and becomes one of the important source of blood supply to the brain. Variation in the origin of left vertebral artery was found in 65 year old female during magnetic resonance angiography of the neck vessels. It originated from aortic arch and was longer as ...
